The Horse and a Boy

Once upon a time, in a vast open field where the wind danced freely, a magnificent black horse soared through the sky. Its sleek coat shimmered in the sunlight as it glided gracefully above the earth.

Below, the people who witnessed this extraordinary sight were filled with excitement, but their intentions were not pure. They eagerly awaited the horse’s descent, each hoping to claim it for themselves. Among them was a little boy with a pure heart, who happened to be passing by. His eyes widened with wonder as he gazed up at the horse, wishing fervently that he could fly alongside it.

As if sensing the boy’s silent wish, the horse gently descended from the sky, skillfully avoiding the grasping crowd. With a knowing look, the horse spotted the boy and, despite the obstacles in its path, made its way through the barbed wire to reach him.

In a soft, gentle voice, the horse spoke to the boy, “I once gave you a chance, but you did not respect me. However, I am willing to give you another opportunity, if you promise to respect me well.”

The boy nodded eagerly, understanding the horse’s words and the significance of this second chance. Together, they embarked on a journey, with the boy promising to care for the horse and meet its needs. Along the way, they became fast friends, sharing stories and laughter.

When they finally reached home, the boy felt a warm glow of happiness in his heart. He had been given a second chance, and he was deeply grateful for it. As he sat and pondered why he had forgotten the horse and what had caused it to leave him before, he found no answers. Yet, as they bid each other goodnight, the boy knew that their friendship would endure forever.
